Thank you Mr. Albert Uresti, David Deleon and Carlos Gutierrez from the Bexar County Tax Office.  You guys provide a great deal of good information, I am just sorry more of the members didn't come.

For those who could not come or make the meeting on Sunday, you missed a very informative education on how the taxes are collected and auto registration is done, to include the new one sticker process.

My office has submitted a City Council request for "safe exchange zones" to help citizens safely broker e-commerce transactions with strangers. These "safe exchange zones" could provide an extra sense of security to both buyers and sellers. In addition, this may deter senseless acts of violence that we have seen throughout the nation.    I would like to remind everyone that there is a runoff in the Mayoral race. Early voting begins Monday, June 1st through Tuesday, June 9th. Early voting sites will be held throughout the City, the closest sites for District 10 residents are at the following libraries:  Julia Yates Semmes (15060 Judson Rd.), Tobin at Oakwell (4134 Harry Wurzbach), and Brookhollow (530 Heimer Rd.). Election Day will be Saturday, June 13th.    Thank you for all of your support. SAPD needs your help, Blood Drive 8 July, 2015

Hello,

 

Captain Pat Murnin of the SAPD North substation has agreed to the date of Wednesday, July 8^th, for the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center to be at the substation.  They set up in the rollcall room and set their schedule for the day to accommodate the four patrol shifts (see below for times). 

 

This is also open to citizens if you are interested in donating.
