Single Use Plastic Bags in SA
We've received the following letter from Andrew Dobbs, Program Director with the Texas Campaign for the Environment (website: http://www.texasenvironment.org) requesting that our neighborhood group support a ban on single use plastic bags in San Antonio, which are a major threat to our environment.
A bag ordinance was introduced by San Antonio District 7 Council member Cris Medina with the help of other council members. Please take a moment to read the letter and contact us about whether you would support such a ban or would like more information about this subject.

2014 SAPD Northeast Substation C.O.P. Classes
The SAPD Northeast Substation Citizens on Patrol classes are 1-time, 4-hr classes. Please bring a photo ID when attending. All necessary applications will be filled out at the beginning of each class and photos will be taken for a complimentary COP ID card.
