AAMPO to hold Transportation Conformity public meeting

Transportation conformity estimates the effect of transportation projects on the region’s future air quality. It addresses air pollution from cars, trucks and other motor vehicles - what we call "on-road mobile sources".
AAMPO is seeking public comment beginning February 14, 2020 through March 15, 2020 on our 2020 Transportation Conformity Document for Bexar County. The proposed documents will be available for public review at alamoareampo.org/airquality/conformity.
If you have any questions, contact Allison Blazosky at (210) 227-8651 or blazosky@alamoareampo.org.

May 15, 2020: Mark your calendar for Bike to Work Day

BTWD 2020
Save the date for Bike to Work Day: May 15, 2020
National Bike Month includes an ever-expanding diversity of events in communities nationwide - but the biggest day of the month is Bike to Work Day (BTWD). AAMPO is spearheading BTWD around the region on May 15, 2020! It's a celebration of bicycles as a fun and healthy way to get to work, as well as an opportunity for those who don’t usually bike commute to try it out. With increased interest around the world in healthy, sustainable and economic transportation options, the question should really be “Why not bike to work?”
Want to lend a hand? BTWD planning is underway! Reach out to Joey Pawlik about getting involved at (210) 230-6931 or pawlik@alamoareampo.org. Stay tuned for all the updates on our social media channels!
